3D Effects Programmer

Overview

The purpose of this role is to develop high quality effects including rigid body and particle dynamics, volume modeling and rendering, procedural geometry generation, and fluid dynamics for more complex project needs for all kinds of entertainment productions.

WORK DUTIES

  • Developing programs required for 3D rendering of effects for visual effects and games

ELIGIBILITY

  • Experience with 1 or more successful visual effects or game project
  • Thorough knowledge of mathematics
  • Capable of creating a system that can effectively use multi-core
  • Have an interest in game engine design and creation for next generation hardware

For new graduates, there is no need to meet all of the eligibility requirements. 
For those with no experience in the industry, it is not necessary to meet all of the eligibility requirements, but please appeal mainly with your abilities to compensate for this. 

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCES (NOT REQUIRED)

  • Experience creating or modifying a rendering engine
  • Thorough knowledge of or experience using commercial game engines
